Speaking of sister groups, you think they would ever open sister groups in other parts of SEA? Hm, say Vietnam, Singapore, Thailand, etc.? Vietnam doubt so, lack of Jpop interest. Thailand, maybe but Jpop interest isn't that high over there as well. Singapore is highly possible, provided there is financial backers supporting the project. Its more costly to setup a sister group here than in Taipei, Taiwan. Philippines is another possible location, and much lesser funds needed. Hong Kong is not into idol culture, so its ruled out. Malaysia is possible but depending on how they want to manage between the chinese and malay.

Cool, present for you. (look at your mini-profile)
Nope, haven't changed a bit.
Although I did some studies on JKT48, and I have oshi over there now. But the balances between the ranks still holds. Love It
Ah, very good - could it be Melody? ^^Bro, you learning precognition too?

Ooh, I think I know a very good financial backer... And I just happen to be talking to him
Okay, well awesome. I'm for any of those places getting a sister group, even if it is many years down the road.

HCM? HNO? One is Hanoi, the other is..? Haha I can't do anything about the closure of the Singapore AKB48 store, although even if I can I don't want to help it. Cos its really bad business support and extremely terrible location, despite more of the management staffs are my former trainees/colleagues. Well I could see another 1-2 China sister group, but it will take at least 1-2 so that they can gain experience from SNH48. I'm looking into my precognition for the next Japan sister group though...

There is one paragraph in Tomomi's graduation news that interests me enough to bring up.
"With Nakatsuka's graduation announcement, every AKB48 member who decided not to participate in the 5th Senbatsu General Election has announced their intention to graduate. The frequency of graduation announcements from the group is expected to decrease."
That may be true on the first part. But there is this hidden second part I don't expect more general medias to take note of.
Sousenkyo is not just the battleground for WOTA and their oshimen, but its also receiving your annual report card. For members who is not senbatsu or in the push zone, Sousenkyo is where they will reflect and debate upon their future in the group.
There have been many cases that members failed to hit their expectation result, then choose to graduate from the group. To many, especially existing 1st to 6th gen members who have been around for the longest of time, whether is it still worthwhile to stay in AKB48 depends on how much support they still can gather.
When one is down to a point that they can't compare with newer generations, maybe its time to start their own journey. No point in staying around as a backup theater member with no progression in the future.
Nyan Nyan is already considering graduation, she stated this may be her last Sousenkyo. Takamina and Yuko still have tasks to complete before graduation is permited, mainly to train up their successors.
Mariko-sama is well... maturing out of idol age group.
Mii-chan....well how much support it still there can influence her decision to stay or leave.
Plus remaining 2nd gen (excluding Sae and Umechan) are also in the group who is looking at their report card for decision.

Ah, so its closing down, huh? That is sad, but you obviously saw it coming.
lol You should have trained them better, Cak! I'm just messin' with ya~
^ ^ ooh, what do you see???I saw its demise since the opening of it, cos of the location and the marketing plans. Location is experience floor space (since its hosting Shop, Cafe and Theater), but its at a remote corner of the main business street. Then the only marketing plans is through social medias, doesn't help the situations at all. Plus the premise price tag of Japanese imports over here, and to top it all. The QC standard of the cafe is horrible. Yup so now its into the history book. Hmm.... I'm seeing a few possible choices. Sapporo, Hokkaido. - Due to its population counts and its region, but the population density is too low for effective earnings and ground work. Yokoyama, Kanagawa - Due to its population density, but I'm not sure whether there will be another Kanto region group. Hiroshima, Hiroshima - Cos its the only choice in a new region, but population and P.density doesn't have it as high as the city. So weighting all considerations, possibly Yokoyama as the best place to start another sister group.

It seems there is 2 photos per senbatsu member for SayoKuro. One in white gown, the other in flowered bikini. So ch3mist 's chance of getting Haruppi is at least 1/208

Nope, its flat random through all 6 type (LE and Regular) One reason something WOTA buys a lot of regular types for certain release for finding the oshimen's photo. If hinata is loaded, she will be buying tons of SayoKuro. Cos as a Tomochin WOTA, SayoKuro is the most meaningful release as its the first and only time that Paruru is center.

^ I always get 'wrong' photocards though. I'm not lucky with that stuff. In all my OC albums I got Nana, not a single Lizzy card Oh well I got Boram in both Bunny Style versions I got (one has 100% chance, the other one 50% chance so it's not comparable haha)

^ Hmm... if Yuko wins Sousenkyo, I'll be buying 33th single until I get her photo card. Is Boram your oshi in T-ara? SME didn't place any photocard in IGAB.... hmm... but then I never bear to open my Seobaby version (its still in wrap)

Is Boram your oshi in T-ara? She's my #1 #2 (used to be Hwayoung); not it's Qri #3 Soyeon Therefore I had high expectations in the 'QBS' sub-unit but the audio snippet I linked yesterday wasn't exactly what I wanted it to be.

Actually I used to like Eunjung back in Bo Beep days when T-ara is still just 5. But now I don't like her. I quite like the snippet, but I wouldn't give it very high marks. But it will pass as an average Jpop track.

^ Even though I still count them to my #5 kpop groups they're decending bit by bit. The whole Hwayoung left is still bleeding, Areum improved but her rapping skills aren't nowhere near Hwayoung's.
It's funny I always disliked Bo Beep, it's one of the most annoying songs in the entire kpop world to me. (Along with SNSD's Boys, miss A's IDNAM, BEG - Abracadabra, Secret - Madonna). ^^
Funny thing, my fav T-ara songs are the ballad-heavy ones ~ Don't Leave, We were in love, Good Person.

^ Basically all very repetitive songs. It annoys me pretty fast. For miss A my fav songs are No Mercy, Good Girl Bad Girl, Breath, Break It Hm it's different for WG though, they don't have a single title-song I don't like at all. I want that effort on miss A now, maybe they could rise in my ranking a bit. 8)
